DEERFIELD — State Senator Julie Morrison is inviting residents to attend a volunteer fair on Saturday, June 20.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Suburban YMCA, located at 2705 Techny Rd. in Northbrook. It is free and open to the public.
“Volunteering is a great way to get connected with your community and invest your time in organizations that work each day to support your neighbors,” said Morrison (D-Lake Forest). “I hope residents will join us to meet these local groups who are making lasting, positive change in and around the 29th district”.
Residents will have a chance to get in touch with local organizations seeking volunteers to provide a positive impact on the community.
People with questions can call Senator Morrison’s office at 847-945-5200.
